Liz Close, RMT, RST, combines over 12 years Shiatsu and Massage Therapy experience with continuing education in how the mind & body are connected through the nervous system. She is passionate about helping gently release chronic stress patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression, muscle tension, headaches, digestive issues, and autoimmune disorders.
Hands on treatment includes acupressure and myofascial techniques. You can expect to leave feeling very relaxed, as well as gaining some insight into your body-mind-spirit system and ways to better take care of YOU!
When not at work, Liz enjoys brunch-ing with friends (that IS a legitimate Vancouver activity!), snowshoeing, and Qigong-ing. She is currently taking UBC graduate classes in Rehabilitation Science.
